Case study iconCarlton Tower

WGC’s workforce is very competent and the company is extremely reliable and organised and always quick to respond to any issues. It is also very strong on health and safety, which is important to us.
Anne Britton, Executive Housekeeper, Carlton Tower

The 216-room Carlton Tower occupies an enviable location in London’s Knightsbridge, just a stone’s throw from both Harrods and Hyde Park. Rising 18 stories, it was London’s tallest hotel on opening in 1961 and today still possesses some of the most stunning views across the Capital’s skyline.

To help maintain its impeccable five-star standards, the hotel draws on the expertise of specialist cleaning services company WGC, which has had a relationship with the Carlton Tower for 15 years and is responsible for cleaning all public areas and kitchens as well as maintaining the hotel’s windows.

The Carlton Tower chooses WGC to care for its window cleaing requirements because of the company’s capabilities in this specialist field and its robust health and safety record. A variety of techniques are used, including abseilers to reach some of the hotel’s more inaccessible windows.
