Martin Birch is the company’s Chief Executive. He originally trained and worked in the accountancy profession, initially working for a West End firm of Chartered Accountants where his role brought him into contact with a wide range of businesses.
Exposure to varied assignments expanded Martin’s commercial knowledge and it was this that ultimately led him to the decision that a business career was the path he wanted to follow. Joining WGC in 1988 as Financial Controller, Martin is now one of the main shareholders and together with the Board, continues to pursue a vision of growth through industry-recognised reputation. Family plays a very important part in Martin’s life and he takes a keen interest in his children’s hobbies and interests.
