Martha Warwick
Associate Director (Business Development Manager)

Martha is WGC’s Business Development Manager with a brief to promote the company across the UK and realise WGC’s growth and diversification objectives. Originally joining WGC in 2002, she played a key part in setting up the company’s Midlands and North division.

Martha brings substantial expertise and experience to her current role. Formerly from the Netherlands, her first position was with Commonwealth Holiday Inns of Canada, (now Marriott hotels). This exposed Martha to several senior UK positions including Executive Housekeeper, Conference, Banqueting and Front of House Manager, and at corporate level, Assistant to the Group Executive Housekeeper. It was during this period of her career that Holiday Inns opened a number of four-star hotels throughout the country. Martha also worked for Stakis Hotels (now Hilton) as Regional Sales Manager.

Martha was a Guest Lecturer at The Caledonian University, as well as a Catey Caterer Awards judge and runner-up in a NatWest Young Businesswoman of the Year competition. In addition, she wrote a number of trade related articles for national publications. Martha’s drive and tenacity is a perfect fit for her role within WGC and she has assured the company’s continued success and competitiveness.

Outside of work, Martha’s leisure time is taken up with ferrying her young son to sporting events and learning the rules of Rugby football. She also visits her family in the Netherlands as often as she can.
